As well as creating my own jewellery, I am a qualified adult education teacher and have been enjoying teaching jewellery making to adults at various centres around London, as well as offering private individual or small group tuition in London since 2009.
Whether you are a professional looking to add to your skills, completely new to jewellery making and would like to try it out, you make jewellery as a hobby, or you are considering making jewellery to sell, I would love to help you. As a jeweller, I work primarily with silver, using traditional metalwork / silver jewellery making and various related skills, but I don't often use silver on its own - I specialise in working with stitched beadwork, silver clay, and Kumihimo (Japanese braiding), and I love creating different effects by combining these in different ways with metals. I offer bespoke 1-1 or small group tuition, from my studio in central London.
As well as my private teaching, I teach at the London Jewellery School in Hatton Garden - teaching a variety of beading, metal clay, polymer clay, resin, glass fusing, wax carving and silver jewellery classes and I also teach regularly in Hammersmith at the Macbeth Centre, and at the Mary Ward Centre near Russell Square. |
