Beginners Silver Jewellery Making WEEKEND - Two Day Class
This is a two day beginners class designed for you to try out making silver jewellery and learn some of the key basic skills.
Students will design and make their own silver rings - either dainty stacking type rings, or fun fiddle / spinner type rings, and then move on to create their choice of either a simple gemstone set ring or pendant, or a chain bracelet....
We will cover creating surface patterns on the metal, shaping and forming the silver, soldering, piercing (cutting the metal), as well as sanding and refining the finished piece/s and then polishing the silver ready to wear.
Class size - maximum of 3 people
Class runs from 10.30am to 5pm each day - there will be a 45 minute lunch break where you can explore the market and food stalls or relax and refuel in a local café.
This class is held in my Camden, central London, jewellery studio - this is close to both Camden Town tube station and Camden Road over ground station.
The workshop is downstairs, so if you have mobility issues / have trouble manoeuvring stairs, then do get in touch before booking.
This course runs roughly every other month, but additional dates can be added on request and it is also available as private tuition at a date and time to suit you, or a group of friends.
All materials needed are included in the price and your jewellery pieces are of course yours to take home and show off.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and nibbles are available throughout.
