Online - Setting Up a Home Jewellery Workspace - Course
This is a series of 2 x sessions - held online using Zoom.
Detailed information pdfs will be e-mailed each week in advance, and the session will be live, to work along together, demonstrate and help each student with any queries.
If you've done a little jewellery making on a course, or are looking at starting to make your own jewellery at home, and are not sure what tools you'll need, how to set up a workspace or workbench, and how to stay safe working at home, then this is the course for you!
DATE - Thursday evenings 6.15pm - 8.45pm
2 weeks; - Feb 10 and 17
During the course we will look at the key hand tools used for (metal) jewellery making, storage solutions, desk / workbench setups, alternative options you can use to save money or space.
There will be discussion of health and safety issues, as well as how to work efficiently with the key pieces of kit, good ideas for projects to get started with as a beginner.
Great for both anyone who has already tried making jewellery on an in person course, or for those with no jewellery experience at all yet.
Class held ONLINE using ZOOM - participants will need a device (phone, tablet, laptop or computer) with a working microphone, so they can join into the class, and ideally also a camera facility.
Can also be arranged as in person tuition at my Camden studio, as 1-1 tuition, or for a small group of friends that would like to come together!
This is not a practical course - it is discussion and demonstration based, so no equipment is needed to take part.
