Beginners Silver Jewellery Making Class - Hoop Earrings Evening
This is a short evening beginners class designed for you to try out making silver jewellery and learn some of the key basic skills.
Students will design their own pair of hoop earrings - choose your size and style, and have a fun evening creating gorgeous solid silver earrings ready to wear home and show off, or gift to others....
We will cover creating surface patterns on the metal, twisting wires, shaping and forming the silver, soldering, piercing (cutting the metal), as well as sanding and refining the finished piece/s and then polishing the silver ready to wear.
If you like, and time allows; you can create decorations using beads to add some extra fun and colour to your hoops...
Class size - maximum of 3 people
Class runs from 6.30 - 9.30pm - and is held in my Camden, central London, jewellery studio - this is close to both Camden Town tube station and Camden Road over ground station.
The workshop is downstairs, so if you have mobility issues / have trouble manoeuvring stairs, then do get in touch before booking.
This course runs roughly every other month, but additional dates can be added on request and it is also available as private tuition at a date and time to suit you, or a group of friends.
All materials needed are included in the price and your earrings are of course yours to take home and show off.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and nibbles are available throughout.
