Silver Bangle or Bracelet - Improvers 2 day Course
Develop your silver jewellery making skills in this two day intermediate / improvers level class.
This course will cover making a bracelet chain or a set of bangles, as well as to start to create simple stone setting/s - either as a charm/s to hang from the bracelet, or as separate pieces and is designed to expand on soldering and fabrication skills for beginning jewellers.
What we will cover will depend on students interests and designs, but the project will, we will always cover improving soldering and polishing / finishing skills, but students can also choose to explore topics from this selection;
using doming punches and stakes to form metal into new shapes
getting started with stone settings
making contemporary chains
Suitable for anyone who has already tried silver jewellery making, for example at a beginners class or short course and would like to start to develop their skills further.
Class size - maximum of 3 people
Class held in my Camden, central London jewellery studio and runs from 10am to 5pm on each day.
Can also be arranged at a date to suit you, as private 1-1 tuition, or if you have a group of friends that would like to come together!
All materials needed including silver and gemstones are included in the price.
Tea, coffee and cold drinks and nibbles are available all day. Lunch is available from any of the many local cafes or shops.
