Wire Jewellery - Collection #1

As these are the first wire jewellery projects - these are all quite achievable and quick once you get going, designed specifically to use minimal tools so they are super easy to do at home...

To get set up, you will need...
  • Beads - just a handful in a selection of colours / textures / shapes / sizes to your own taste
  • Earring hooks
  • Plastic / rubber / metal scroll or butterfly style earring backs
  • A bead mat
  • Wire in 1.25mm, 1mm and 0.8mm diameters
  • Side cutter pliers
  • Snipe (Chain) nose pliers
  • Round nosed pliers
  • Jump rings
Your wire can be any wire - I would recommend practising in cheap wire - either plain copper wire, or silver or gold plated wire. Once you are confident, if you choose to, you can change up to sterling silver wire, or gold filled wire.

To get started -
For information about materials and your basic kit, see the getting started secion on Wire Jewellery Homepage...

Do share your creations by e-mailing me - i'd love to be able to share members work in the upcoming Jewellery Club e-mails, and do please contact me if you have any questions or anything I can help with!
