Beaded Jewellery

Beaded jewellery of some sort is a key essential in pretty much any jewellery wearer's collection, and is also a great place to start with making jewellery as it generally involves a lot less in the way of tools and equipment than for example starting to create silver jewellery.

Beads are one of the very oldest artefacts created by humans, right back to many thousands of years ago - a bead is any item deemed interesting, beautiful or precious, that has a hole created through it to enable connecting it in some way - whether strung on a cord, stitched to clothing, combined with wire or metals, or in any other format.

Whether you are an experienced jeweller in other materials / techniques, or are just starting your jewellery journey - learning to work with beads is a great option to explore.

Beads can be combined with bought, or handmade metal or other material elements and made to be super high end expensive jewellery, or made simply and quickly to make yourself some earrings to match a favourite top, or pretty much anything in between - your imagination, and the beads available to you are the only limits.
