Paper has been used creatively, as well as for writing on, for centuries, and as it doesn't often need any particularly specialist tools to work with it, is quite easy to work with at home...
Paper can be used in many different ways - flat as a decorative sheet or flat shape, or folded, curled, pleated, cut, layered, scrunched up or draped, or soaked and mashed into a paste and combined in so many different ways.

Top tips -
- Experiment with using different papers - different weights and textures of papers, as well as colours of printing, will give a wide variety of effects, whatever you are using them for!
- Look at paper crafts online - paper crafts are widespread and many have elements that can be translated to jewellery purposes!
- A lot of things done with paper, can also be done with fabric, or of course, with metals - is there anything you'd want to practice in paper, and then maybe try in another material?
