Handheld Jewel - Smaller Vessel - #2
A unique hammer and hand formed silver piece from my Handheld Jewels collection
The collection -
A small series of vessels - designed to be held - jewellery that instead of being worn , requires the wearer to pause and pick the piece up in order to 'wear' it... Designed as a series of pieces of simple elegance and beauty, around the concept of items of reflection and contemplation, and an encouragement to pause and have a moment of stillness in the midst of a busy day.
Simple soft satin finished silver, with contrasting burnished edges.
Each piece is carefully hammered into a beautiful smooth round dish, then contracted and distorted by hand to create it's own unique shape, so no two can ever be the same.
This item –
This is smaller, almost triangular shaped piece - it measures roughly 7cm in length and roughly 6cm across. Hand hammered and then manipulated from a flat circle of sheet silver.
This silver is solid sterling silver; 3D laser marked with my hallmark at the London Assay Office.
This item is will be mailed from London UK. It will come carefully packed in a padded box.
