Pearl Knotting Jewellery Class
This short day class will introduce how to string a necklace / bracelet using traditional knotting skills.
If you are interested in this course, some basic bead jewellery skills are useful - I strongly recommend that you take the Beginners Bead Stringing day course (or similar) first before attempting knotting, as this is a more complex technique.
Students will create a pair of fully knotted pearl / gemstone bracelets - students will learn how to create and tighten their knots, how to choose and plan out their beads, and how to securely attach clasps and finish the jewellery.
*We make two bracelets during the session, rather than a necklace, as this gives more practice in starting and finishing the process - the process is the same for both bracelets and necklaces.*
Class size - maximum of 2 people
Class runs from 10am to 2.30pm - great for a girls day out or a special treat for a celebration - my workshop is in Camden Town in central / north London.
This class is held in my jewellery studio and runs roughly every month, but additional dates can be added on request and it is also available as 1-1 private tuition at a date and time to suit you.
All materials needed are included in the price and your creations are of course yours to take home.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and nibbles are available throughout.
Your lunch is not included - there will be a half hour lunch break where you can stretch your legs and explore the area.
