Beginners Silver Jewellery Taster - Stacking Silver Rings
NO DATES CURRENTLY SET
Please e-mail for availability
This is a half day taster class designed for beginners to try out making silver jewellery.
Students will design their own ring - be it a set of stacking rings or a decorated band and then create it from scratch - using silver wire and sheet, ready to wear home.
We will cover creating surface patterns on the ring, shaping and forming the metal, soldering, piercing (cutting the metal), as well as sanding and refining the finished piece/s and then polishing the silver ready to wear.
Class size - maximum of 3 people
Class runs from 10am to 1pm - easy to pair up with a lunch, or an afternoon of shopping for a girls day out or a special treat for a celebration - my workshop is in Camden Town which has hundreds of great cafes and shops, as well as the famous markets - also close to London Zoo and the British Museum!
Great as a taster session for anyone thinking about starting to make their own silver jewellery.
This class is held in my Camden, central London, jewellery studio and runs roughly every other month, but additional dates can be added on request and also available as 1-1 private tuition at a date and time to suit you.
All materials needed are included in the price and your ring/s are of course yours to take home.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and nibbles are available throughout.
