Beginners Jewellery - Stacking Silver Rings Taster Class
This is an evening jewellery making class designed for beginners to try out making silver jewellery by fabricating from silver sheet and wire.
Students will design their own set of 2 or 3 dainty stacking silver rings and then create it from scratch - using silver wire and sheet, ready to wear home.
We will cover creating surface patterns on the rings, shaping and forming the metal, soldering, piercing (cutting the metal), as well as sanding and refining the finished piece/s and then polishing the silver ready to wear.
Class size - maximum of 3 people
Class runs from 6.30 - 9.30pm - and is great as a taster session for anyone thinking about starting to make their own silver jewellery.
This class is held in my Camden, central London, jewellery studio and runs roughly every month, but additional dates can be added on request and also available as private tuition at a date and time to suit you.
** The workshop is down stairs (lower ground floor) so access may be difficult for students with mobility problems - if this would be a problem for you - please check before booking. **
All materials needed are included in the price and your lovely new shiny ring/s are of course yours to take home and wear.
Drinks and nibbles are available throughout.
