Graphite, Silver, Copper, Tencel Fibres, Patina
This piece was designed as a jewel for an artist - using a natural piece of raw graphite (the material used in pencil leads) - I created a jewel for another artist - a little unusual and a little uncomfortable, to some eyes - I worked to echo and enhance the form of the natural rock, creating a piece that can actually be used to draw and sketch with, but also visually echoes the sometimes uncomfortable process of creating artworks.
