1-1 Tuition ONLINE
If you would like my help with a project, or would like an introduction to a new skill, I am offering mini individual tuition / demonstrations / q & a sessions...
Let me know what you'd like to work on - i will send you information, notes and/or links in advance to prepare, as well as information on tools and materials you need.
You can then either work independently first and we will video chat to answer any questions or troubleshoot any problems you're having, or I'll watch you work and advise you, or for you to watch me demonstrate and talk through the technique (or a mix of all three!).
£30 per session, including preparation sent by e-mail and a 1 hour of video call using WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Zoom or your preferred platform.
Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to discuss your ideas
I am a qualified adult education teacher and have been enjoying teaching jewellery making to adults at various centres around London, as well as offering private individual or small group tuition in London since 2009.
Whether you are a professional looking to add to your skills, completely new to jewellery making and would like to try it out, you make jewellery as a hobby, or you are considering making jewellery to sell, I would love to help you.
I work primarily with silver, using traditional jewellery making and related skills, but I don't often use silver on its own - I also love working with bead weaving, silver clay, and Kumihimo (Japanese braiding), and I love creating different effects by combining these or other materials in different ways with silver.
Face to face tuition is currently suspended but online learning options are available anytime...
I primarily work from my studio in Camden, central London, and the topics I love teaching include;
As well as my private teaching,
I teach regularly in Hammersmith at the Macbeth Centre
I am one of the team teaching at the London Jewellery School in Hatton Garden - teaching a variety of beading, silver clay, resin, glass fusing, wax carving and silver jewellery making classes
I occasionally teach silver clay at the London Jewellery Workshop in Shoreditch
